Job Summary:
Bidvest Prestige Warehouse is seeking a competent Administrative Assistant to support the operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse and assist in the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to warehouse management team
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documents
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Perform general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office assistant
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Previous experience in data entry
