Job Title: Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Bidvest Prestige Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility and ensuring the efficient and effective running of all warehouse activities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement warehouse operations policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock control processes
- Plan and coordinate the shipment, receipt, and storage of goods
- Ensure the safe and secure handling of all products and materials
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency
- Manage the warehouse budget and ensure cost-effective operations
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and generate reports as required
- Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Qualifications:
- Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs
